Visit website09:00 – 09:15 h | Greeting |
15 –10:15 h | Fundamentals of control engineering After an introduction to the symbolism of control engineering, the analysis and evaluation of the control behaviour of the controlled system and measuring sensor are discussed in particular. The selection and setting of the controller parameters are explained using selected application examples. |
15 –11:30 h | Design of control valves This presentation deals with the design of control valves. In addition to the pure design, the automation of the control valve is also examined, as the requirements in terms of control quality are constantly increasing. |
30 –12:00 h | Break and exhibition |
00 –12:45 h | How intelligent measuring valves are changing automation technology Measuring valves (FOCUS-ON) are standard control valves that are equipped with complete measuring technology, control computers and communication technology. The presentation describes the mode of operation and areas of application of this technology using practical examples. A live demonstrator shows the functionality in detail. |
45 –13:45 h | Lunch |
45 –14:30 h | Applications of measuring valves in general control tasks and the chemical industry This presentation will first explain applications in detail, such as temperature control in heat exchangers, batch applications, general flow and pressure control and applications in explosion-proof areas. Practical examples, material selection and special requirements will be explained. |
30 –15:00 h | Use of measuring valves in safety-related applications in accordance with IEC61508/61511 It is explained in detail which options are available to the user in safety applications and how they are incorporated into the calculation and optimisation of safety circuits in accordance with standards. The sensor technology of the control device is also considered. |
00 –15:15 h | Break |
15 –15:45 h | Applications of measuring valves in the water industry The 3rd application presentation will focus specifically on control tasks in the water industry: level control in elevated tanks, pressure-controlled water feed in centrifuges, etc. The new FOCUS-1e uses an electric actuator instead of a pneumatic actuator. The new FOCUS-1e is used here, which utilises an electric actuator instead of a pneumatic actuator. |
45 –16:15 h | Applications of measuring valves in hydrogen electrolysis The last presentation deals specifically with several control tasks in hydrogen electrolysis: In this process, several control tasks can be automated particularly efficiently with measuring valves: The advantages will be illustrated using practical examples. |
15 h | End of the event |
