KROHNE Academy online wins Comenius Edu-Media Award

After 2016, the KROHNE Academy online learning platform has once again won a Comenius Edu-Media Award, presented by the German Association for Education, Information and Media (GPI). With this award, the GPI honours high-quality digital educational media in terms of pedagogy, content and design.

The expert jury, made up of academics, specialists and educational practitioners from eight European countries, assessed 165 educational media. Almost 20 per cent of these came from other European and international countries, including China and the USA. 130 award-winning products were recognised for their high didactic and media quality, which can be viewed at www.comenius-award.de.

The web-based learning platform KROHNE Academy online comprises a large number of e-learning courses in up to five languages and an extensive range of online seminars focussing on industrial process measurement technology. In addition to basic topics such as the explanation of measuring principles, the platform also offers courses on explosion protection and functional safety.

KROHNE Academy online is aimed at users from the field who come into contact with various measuring principles on a daily basis, as well as students or anyone interested in keeping up to date with measuring methods and applications in technical systems. More than 30,000 users are already learning on the free platform.
